A Thriving Home for Investment

An active, interwoven ecosystem of startups, entrepreneurs, and local and global venture capital, makes the Research Triangle Region a great place for businesses to start and grow.

The region’s universities, tech companies, and contract research organizations (CROs) ensure that the investment landscape is always growing and expanding. Over the past 10 years, nearly 500 venture capital deals have a combined value of nearly $6 billion.

Last year alone, Triangle startups raised $2 billion on over 150 deals, accounting for 90% of the funding and 77% of deals in the state.
