Aspida Selects Durham County for New Global Headquarters
Date publiée:One of the country’s fastest growing insurance companies, Aspida Financial Services and its affiliates (“Aspida”), selected Durham County, North Carolina to expand its global headquarters. At today’s meeting of the State of North Carolina’s Economic Investment Committee, it was announced that Aspida will hire 1,000 new employees over the next several years and invest more than $28 million in new capital expenditures. The company is currently located at 2327 Englert Drive in Durham but will move into a new flagship space (the location will officially be announced later).
“On behalf of the Board of Commissioners, I am thrilled that Aspida is expanding their headquarters in Durham County,” said Durham County Board of Commissioners Chair Nida Allam. “This impressive project advances a number of County goals and is the largest recruited jobs project to date. Aspida also brings an excitement to partner with Durham’s workforce development community to support financial services career pathways.”
Geoff Durham, President and CEO of the Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce added, “There is nothing more satisfying than being able to help a local organization expand in Durham. Aspida cares about this community and will be offering great salaries to local people as they expand.
