Comté de Franklin is in close proximity à Duc University, NC State University, and UNC Chapel Hill, as well as numerous other educational institutions in the Research Triangle region. Vance-Granville Community College has a satellite campus where the BioWorks program was created et est home to Louisburg College.  

Triangle North Executive Airport is a thriving $85.55 million economic engine with more than 80 tenants, including a flight training school et un helicopter training school and aviation-related services. With un planned runway extension from 5,500 feet to 6,200, along with a new terminal building et additional hangers, the airport provides easy access to the Research Triangle Region.
